Middle School Chemistry

Service Description

This class is for 6th - 9th graders that would like a formal chemistry class. Throughout the semester we will cover the curriculum from ACS (https://www.acs.org/middleschoolchemistry.html) plus lots of hands-on activities and extra enrichment. Each week we will do a bit of knowledge building then do a corresponding activity. Usually the activity will be an experiment but a few of the classes may be paper based activities. Chemistry is not always safe to perform in a classroom! Teaching is my passion, chemistry is one of my favorite subjects to teach so this class is sure to be awesome! An enrollment fee of $100 is due to reserve your spot, this will also serve as a one time materials fee. Each month of class a tuition payment of $60 will be required.
